More butterflies today...
... sitting on a tag. I've gone with blue for this. Not my usual palette but I wanted to use some of my mist scraps. Not that they are really visible after all the stamping. I still can't get good prints using DIs, so these were stamped with clearsnap choc & blueberries.
This frame is actually much whiter, but somehow they've come out brown in these photos. I used white tempera paint, followed by a generous coat of rock candy crackle paint. The crackle paint actually flaked some of the white paint as well!
The butterflies have been misted, and the body decorated with paper pen.
I've finished the base of the tag with ruffled bias tape, lace and pearls.
