vintage plus black

Ok, I think this should be my last card for the vintage week over at 365 Cards. Frankly, it's been rather exhausting. I have new respect for the weekly all-star players.

 This design is based on the sketch from Card Patterns. 

 I thought I should have at least one stamped vintage card and not just printed images, and this is  it! It's one of my favourite stamps from Viva Decor, stamped in Clearsnap charcoal chalk ink. It's been coloured in with a water brush using aquarelle colour pencils. The edge has been sponged in charcoal, and framed by a scalloped circle which is highlighted by stickles and liquid pearls.

 The background is corrugated cardboard, painted white and then inked over with charcoal. The centre strip consists of layers of lace, punched paper, embossed paper, and grosgrain ribbon.
