Hari Raya Aidil Fitri, as we call it here, is celebrated at the end of this month, so it's time to send lots of cards. Here is one of them :
This card is based on the current sketch over at Mojo Monday. I've also drawn inspiration from The Shabby Tea Room, and their theme of Mix & Match, using 3 different patterned papers.
I've opted to use a medallion as a main feature, layering a circle, an SB shape, ribbon, lace and topped with a mini accordian rosette. The flower centre is finished with distress crackle paint. Edges are inked with DIs and highlighted with liquid pearls. The sentiment is handwritten.
The inside is also decorated, using strip layers of the same papers.
Other challenges entered :
Kreative Stempelfreunde - monochrome
crafts & me - anything goes
the paper variety - circles
craft us crazy - anything goes
my mum's craft shop - monochromatic
allsorts - free & easy
supplies: spellbinders dies, sizzix die (mini rosette), xcut border punch, distress inks, ranger distress crackle paint, viva decor paper pen, viva decor pearl pen; others from my stash
