I'm going CAS today, playing along with the Less is More challenge. They're having a colours of your nation's flag week, and this is mine.
Not a colour combination I would normally use, so it was a bit more of a challenge than usual. I've actually made two cards, both very different.
This one is mainly white, so I'm using different textures and materials. The layout is based on the Cardabilities current sketch.
The background is misted, and the vine is cut from wallpaper. The sentiment circle is a computer printout. Unfortunately my colour printer suddenly gave out, so I had to use black. It has been coated with crackle accent, although I'm beginning to question the rationale behind that... ~ Ü ~
The glittery circle bit is made with a gelly roll pen.
There is just a hint of the other colours of the flag, in the form of floral gems.
This card is also playing along with these challenges:
supplies: sizzix dies (vine & rosette), spellbinders die (scalloped circle), crackle accent, sakura gelly roll pen, tattered angel glimmer mist; others from my stash.

Love the rosette and just the perfect touch of colour...thanks for joining us at Simon Says Challenge blog
Great idea to do the white on white with the coloured gems. I believe that is the Malaysian flag! I lived there for a couple of years and loved it. xx
Oh, what a pretty way to use a rosette! TFS!
Cheers, Karen

A gorgeous card, love the rosette and beautiful lace.
Gorgeous card, and a great take on the challenge!
How beautiful - although I had to look your flag up, how embarrassing! The crackle is very effective.
