white party

It's a white party over at Our Creative Corner, and I'm going! ~Ü~

It all started while I was playing origami with a paper doily. I had no set direction, but started with a bird base. It looked a bit odd as there are no corners; then with a few folds, I ended up with a bouquet-holder shape. Of course, we must have flowers to go with it. In the end, I decided on just one large bloom.

I added more texture with a white lace bow, and a lace-and-button flower centre. The "stem" is cut from wallpaper, and everything sits on an embossed background.

Other challenges entered:
Cupcake Craft Challenges - using #123 white on white
Charisma Cardz Challenges - Challenge 27 All about Flowers

supplies: Sizzix embossing folder, sizzix dies;
papers, lace, button, floss & doily from my stash
