Today's card is inspired by a combo of several challenges:
Mojo Monday - sketch 199
The Shabby Tea Room - week # 70 flower power
Make my Monday - challenge 6 vintage & embossing
Oldie but a Goodie - challenge #23 lace & ribbon
The Crafty Pad - Challenge 129 Lots of Texture
I've used one of my favourite flower stamps for this card. It is coloured with watercolour pencils, then highlighted the blooms with glitter and gloss gel. It is backed with a folded doily. The doily was too large, so I folded it with a variation of accordian fold. I then added a splash of colour with distress inks.
The background is embossed and also coloured with distress inks. It is wrapped in lace and grosgrain ribbon, and topped with a lace bow. To age the lace. I misted it with pink glimmer mist, then edged it with vintage photo.
supplies: Viva Decor stamp, docrafts stamp, cuttlebug embossing folder, xcut border punch, distress inks, viva decor gloss gel, crystal stickles, tattered angels glimmer mist; other materials from my stash
