I've always wanted to try a teapot on a card. I've seen some lovely shabby chic ones and this is my attempt.

Purple-lilac tones are not really my kind of thing, but they're a lot more calming than browns, so wanted to give that a try, too. 

 The background paper is from a Pink Petticoat paper stack, bordered in a darker shade of purple, and subsequently layered with cream organza ribbon, purple ribbon and a doily. The doily has been dry-embossed with a sizzix folder. I think it's kinda cool.

The gracious hostess is an image from theHouseAcrosstheBay. The teapot and cup have been cut from a magazine download, as has the sentiment, and foam-mounted onto the card. Finished with lots of gel dots and pearls.
