altered door hanger

Another simple fare today...

I'm playing along with the third challenge over at Scrap-It-Lah. Nothing outstanding, just trying out this and that. I adhered batik print fabric on cs, then fussy-cut and layered over Kate Knight paper.

The largest flower is also fabric adhered to chip board. The chipboard letters are painted with acrylic paint, then topped with alcohol ink. This gave them a metallic look, which I then highlighted with stickles.

Hilda - this is such a Malaysian looking door hanger. Brilliant idea to use batik. :) Thanks for playing along with SIL.
