green deco square

Something a little different today - a deco square. Or as some call it - a fat page - a 4 x 4 piece of art.
~ Ü ~

I have created what I hope passes off as CAS.
A simple embossed green background, and two criss-cross borders with paper twine from which a tag is suspended.

The tag is a combo of a scalloped circle and a corner die cut. The inner circle is an embossed tree which has been glossed over.
Everything has been given edge inking with forest moss DI. The borders are strips of corrugated board which has been gessoed and inked over to emphasise the stripes.

Challenges
CAS-ual Fridays - scallops, green, stripes
UnstampaBelles - Christmas
Less is More - green

Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I'm not sure how this card would be displayed on a mantelpiece or shelf as it is set on the diagonal, but it has lots of super textures and is certainly very green.
    Great idea for the tag!
    Thanks so much
