This week, it's Christmas boxes, and this is mine

The box has been refashioned from an empty ice-cream cone box. I've shortened it, as I do not need the length. It is covered in Christmas print paper.
To create a base for the box, I've painted a gold fence cut from chipboard. And adhered maroon grosgrain ribbon over it.
For the top border, it's two layers of gold ribbon, finished with a bow.
This project is a die cut showcase. The four sides have been decorated with sizzix die cuts from the same set. The front is a sock, which I have topped with buttons, and hung from the bow with a jump ring.
The left side is a layered Christmas tree and snowflakes.
The right side is decorated with a simple holly branch. The berries have been highlighted with glossy accent.
The back is embellished with the sentiment, created from a peel-off sticker and a die cut. "Joy" has been glittered with a gelly roll pen, and topped with glossy accent.
The top is simply decorated with a framed medallion. More die cuts.
