vintage birds card

Another seasonal offering today. It feels good to distress and ink everything!

This card uses a lovely image from The Graphics Fairy. It's been edged in gold and matted on kraft. One edge is decorated with a ribbon & an xcut border punch.
The stitched background of the card has misted colour as it was used a protective sheet when I misted some shapes previously. The corners and edges have been stamped to give it vintage presence. The stamps are from Viva Decor. Inks are dark brown chalk ink from colorbox and vintage photo DI. 
 The lace trim has a ribbon woven through, although it's not so obvious here. There's also a little doily backing the main image. Well, part of a doily anyway. The whole thing would be too big to fit on the card. All the edges have been distressed and inked with antique linen & vintage photo DIs.


This banner is made from handcut triangles, which I've distressed and inked. They are stringed along a gold twine. The letters are die cut with a sizzix TH die. The corners are blinged with liquid pearls.


The flowers are punched from dovecraft daisy punches. I've embossed and inked the petals. The button has a gold twine bow to finish.
The swirly leaves are cut with a cheery lynn die. I've cut the stems apart and arranged them separately.
