CAS slider card

Going CAS again today!

Less is More is having a "Things that Move" theme, and Chrissie has posted some fab tutorials for slider and spinner cards. I'm having a go at making a slider card.
I used the sketch from clean & simple, which has a joint challenge with jingle belles. So, a Christmas card it is!
I'm also incorporating some embossing to link up with CAS-ual Fridays.

For the slide-out card, I've used a TH tag die. I had to shorten it to fit, but I like tag-looking cards.

The sentiment is a stamp from a set that came with a magazine. The star centre is glossy accent, just for a bit of dimension.

I've used a sizzix die for the tree as I do not have a suitable stamp in my stash. The tree has been embossed, then coated with Perfect Pearls; although it's hard to see the shine here. I've also used PP for the flourish stamp on the background circle.

supplies: sizzix dies, Tim Holtz stamp (background text), Viva Decor stamp (flourish), free stamp (sentiment), papermania embossing folder, Ranger Perfect Pearl, xcut border punch, distress inks
