card challenges

I've had this rose stamp for some time now, and decided it was time I used it. I don't have any markers, so I was going to paint it. Tried several colour palettes, but went back to my perennial browns. Does not help that I was using distress inks and was limited to what I had. I really need to get a couple more, they're so easy to use for painting. =)

After browsing around, I saw an interesting sketch over at Friday Sketchers. So I'm going to to enter this card for that challenge, While I'm at it, I'm also going to enter the challenges over at Papertake Weekly and PaperPlay Challenges.

scrap-it-lah challenge

Time for my first layout posting. No pinks and no reds, I can do that... =) Just yellows and browns, my favourite combo.

I've had this photo printed ages ago, but never got round to scrapping it. Finally done it!

A second start

It's been ages since I've been back. Too lazy to get things sorted out with camera cables and such. I shall resolve to do that today! Would help if hubby has a bit of time on his hands as well. As far as I am concerned, once you plug in a usb cable, you just click print...

Anyway, I bumped into a scrappers challenge recently, so I'm gonna try that out. I had a look at the some of the entries, and they're way beyond what I do. Still, one has got to start somewhere. And I really need to use up some of my stash. Otherwise, how to make space for more? =)

Another month, another post. =) Not quite the frequency I was hoping to achieve, but well, life's like that! I should get around to posting some of my crafts here one day. Just need to learn a few things still. Lots of things actually...
